TENNIS DANCE AT ASHLEY.
A very pleasant little dance, under \he ausipices of tho Tennis Club, was held in the Ashley School on Saturday evening. A lucky spot waltz was won by Mrs McCrennor and partner. The-duties of M.C. were efficiently carried out by Mr W. Smith, and music for the dancing was supplied by Mesdames Petrie and Bayley, Misses E. Criglington, D. Schmidt, and N. Downing, and Messrs Schmidt and Mayer. Excellent supper was provided, by the ladies. Thoae present were: Mesdames R. Bailey, J. A. Petrie, V. Mayer, Quinney, J. Criglington, W. Banks, Misses Edna Criglington, Daphne Schmidt, Monny, McNally (Rangioral, Myrtle Miller, Nancy Todd (Adelaide), Jean MoNamara, Elsie Patrick, Edie Lundy, Madge Vette, Gladys Partridge, Lily Davis, Jean Criglington, Isabel Quinney, Frances Ramsey, Florence . Morgan. Rita Quinney, Kathleen Clark, Evelyn Morgan, Kora Downing; Messrs Vette (2), Smith (2), Petrie, Bailey, Mayer, Lundy (8), Loffhagen (2), Miller, Carpenter (Fernside), G. Hale (Sefton). W. Smith, Criglington, Binnie (Sefton), Fletcher (Sefton), Clark, Pulley (Loburn\ Schmidt, Cawley. Orchard (Sefton), Collie, Stringer. Morgan, E. Davis, Vallance, W. Banks, T. Hodgson (Lobum), and others.
