A SOUND INVESTMENT. Trustees and others handling trust funds will find a safe investment for surplus moneys in the Christchnrch Drainage Board Debentures, which are offering at 5$ per cent, over a security consisting of a special rate of 9-64 d in the £ on the capital value of an area valued at £8,370,286. All debentures issued by the Board are declared an investment within the meaning of the Trustee Act, 1908. Principal and interest will be payable free of exchange by the Board at any Branch of the Bank of New Zealand withm the Dominion and exchange by the Board on all accepted application money As applications are coming in very freely and the amount of the loan is limited, early application to the Office of the Board, 198 Hereford street, Christchurch is recommended. A free copy of the Prospectus will be sent on application. —2
