ALLEGED FAILURE TO ACCOUNT

(PBESS ASSOCIATION TELZOBAX.) NELSON, November 12. Vincent James Crequer, engaged in an indent business, was charged at the Magistrate's Court on two counts, one of failing to account for £250, and the theft of £4OO. by wrongfully converting it to his own use. On the application of the police a remand was granted to November 21st. The police asked for substantial bail, stating that further charges involving a considerable sum of money were pending. Bail was fixed at two sureties of £2OO each, or, on counsel's request, one surety of £4OO in addition to self of £3OO.
