ALLEGED THEFT.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELBGBAM.) HAWERA, November 12. Thomas Henry Herbert Sinclair pleaded not guilty in the Opunake Court and was committed for trial on 23 charges of thefts totalling £l7O. It is alleged the offences were spread over a term of three and a half years, and related to moneys received by accused as honorary secretary of the Opunake Cottage Hospital. According to the auditor's evidence, the amounts have been refunded since enquiries commenced, excepting £46.
