THE OLYMPIAD.
BROKEN-TIME PAYMENTS QUESTION. (BT CABLE— PiIESS ASSOCIATION —COPTBIOHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AXD K.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received November 13th, 11.5 p.m.) LONDON, November 12. A meeting of representatives of the governing bodies of amateur sports, at the invitation of the British Olympic Association, adopted a '-turn unanimously; first, strongly disapproving of brokeu-time payments; secondly, endorsing the British Olympic Association's protest, but adding, "While it considers the Executive Committee's action strongly prejudiced the prestige of the Olvmpiad in the world of amateur sport, nevertheless H feels that each individual sport is justified in supporting the Games so long as the International Federation controlling that rport opposes broken time." The meeting further resolved 'that it was of the opinion that the next Olympic Congress should take strong measures to secure that the control of the Olympiad is placed in the hands of the committee responsible to tho Congress itself.
