The number of entrants for the matriculation examination this year is 4450 (a slight decrease), 850 for the accountants' preliminary, and 190 for the junior and national scholarships. The report from Lake Coleridge for the week ending last Sunday, shows that the lake level was 1668.33 feet and the average flow from the Harper river 5 cusecs. 'The maximum load at the powerhouse was 16,100 lew. between 11.30 a.m. and noon on Tuesday, and at the sub-station 11,980 kilowatts. All equipment is reported to be in good order.
