ENGINES DAMAGED.

(fhess association tilzgbah.) AUCKLAND, November 7. The oil-driven vessel Te Toa, owned by W. Wright, trading on Manukau Harbour, narrowly escaped destruction by fire on Saturday afternoon. When discovered, the fire had enveloped the engine-room, but was put out with extinguishers. The engines were badly damaged.
