In aid of the Lewisham Hospital Sisters* Rest House, a concert" was given by the Christehurch Professional Musicians' Orchestra in the Liberty Theatre last evening, the conductor being Mr Albert Bidgood. There was a large attendance, which greatlv appreciated an interesting and well-varied programme.
In connexion with the November celebrations of the Loyal Orange Institution, a church service was held in the Orange Hall yesterday afternoon There was a large attendance of members and friends.
