PLUNKET SOCIETY.
At the monthly meeting of the Papaniii sub-branch of the Flunket Society, Mr H. R. Smith (president) was in the chair. Mrs 3. Millar's resignation from the committee was received with regret. Mrs F. Wilson proposed that £ls be handed to the central office towardß general expenses. The motion was seconded by Mrs Heywood and carried. A motion of thanks was passed to Mr' E. West on having kindly printed a notice for the room asking the mothers to become members of the Society. It was to hold a cakestall in town during the first week in February. Mr Poulaen suggested holding a jumble sale later in that month, and the suggestion was adopted.
