CLUB-SWINGING.

Mr Charles Buckett, of Christchurch, will make an attempt to break the New Zealand record for endurance club-swinging, at present held by Mr.T. W. Burrows, of Australia, by swinging 6lb clubs continuously for 72 hours. If he is successful, this will' create a new world's record far 61b clubs. The attempt will take place in the Choral Hall, commencing next Wednesday evening and finishing on Saturday evening. The hall will be open to the public night and day, and a number of variety entertainments will be held during the period.
