LAWN TENNIS.

PROPOSED VISIT OF FRENCH STARS.

At the recent meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, matters in connexion with the proposed visit of the celebrated French tennis players were discussed. It was reslovcd that the secretary (Mr D. Murray Kean) should go to Auckland to meet Mr Harley Malcolm, the secretary of the Australian Lawn Tennis Association, Mho is returning from Europe, and discuss with him arrangements and conditions for a visit of these players. Sir Kean was given authority to act. The Management Committee decided to thank Mr J. H. Kirk, president, for his offer of assistance in connexion with the visit of the French team.
