FIRES.
DWELLING DAMAGED. (press association telegeam.) BLENHEIM, November 2. A dwelling owned by Griffiths Brothers, and occupied by Mr E. M. Gibson,, motor-driver, was partially gutted by fire'in the absence of the occupants. The insurance on the building was £BOO in the State office, and £325 on the. contents in' the South British office.
BIG BRISBANE OUTBREAK. (BY' CABLE—PRESS A6SOCUTIOK COPXRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND V.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) BRISBANE, November 2. Fire destroyed the clothing factory of the A.C.B. Company, Wickham street. The damage is estimated at £50,000. '
