COMMITTED FOR TRIAL.
(PHESS ASSOCIATIOH TELEGBAH.) INVERCARGILL, November 2. At tho Magistrate's Court Ernest Maben Gilmour, who is well known in business and athletic circles, was committed for trial on charges of theft of sums totalling £ISOO from Emily Clark, widow, who died early this year. The defence is that Gilmour held power of attorney under which he drew money, which he had a perfect right to do. On a further charge of theft of £250 he also was committed for trial.
