CHURCH BAZAAR.
The parishioners of St.-Stephen's, Shirley, held their, annual,bazaar last week, when tho opening-ceremony. was performed by Mr H. J. Utley; The-, hall was brightly decorated, and was well filled with buyers.' There ■was an abundance of merchandise of great variety to be disposed .of which • met with a ready sale as.the,net return.amounted to nearly JBISO. A wireless set' provided a much? appreciated programme' of music during the evening. Besides the usual stalls there wore:' A- bookstall,', an eleven-penny halfpenny stall, a Sunday School stall, and a Christmas tree. , The baazar was ' an outstanding success financially and otherwise.
