BUILDERS' ASSOCIATION.
The monthly meeting of the Canterbury Master Builders' Association was held last evening Mr G. Simpson presiding over a good attendance. Dr. D. E. Hansen, principal of the Technical College, wrote advising that in. consequence of the death o{ Mr W. J. Jenkin, who was one of the of associations of employers on . ■ the . Board. of Governors, another member would require to be elected by such associations. " Each association was eligible to nominate; and nominations, in writing would be reoeived until 5 p.m. on tbe 25th. If an election-was" necessary it would'tie held at the Technical College on November.. 90th. The chairman : 'was nominated to attehd, and was given -a free hand.
