The: Ashburton Power Board has offered the School of Engineering, Canterbury College, electrical plant valued at £4OOO, and at yesterday's meeting of the Board of Governors of the College the gift was accepted with thanks, provided it can be transported and placed in store at the College at a cost hot exceeding £IOO. The plant consists of a two-cylinder gas engine of 80 h.p- and a motorgenerator set of 75 k.w.
