BALL AT HINDS.

The members of the Hinds Ladies' Hockey Olub held their annual "wind-up" ball in the local hall on Wednesday evening. There was a good attendance, and" the' effective decorations were carried out in black and gold. Mrs H. Chapman's full orchestra (Ashburton) supplied the music' and Miss S. Hampton played an extra.
