SUNDAY GOLF.
* RESIDENTS' ACTIVE PROTEST. (bt cable—press associatiox—copybiqht.) ("Aaous.") (Received October 30th, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, October 29. An attempt by some residents of Aberdovey to prevent Sunday golf by overcrowding the course, thus rendering play impossible, had its sequel in a. Chancery Court action by the Golf Club, at which the Judge restrained sixteen named residents from going on to the course pending the trial. The affidavit on behalf of the residents set out that they objected, on religious grounds, and asked for the dismisal of the application. The Judge retorted that lie did not seo why they could not exercise their religious scruples without annoying and interfering with golfers.
