'QUAKE IN JAPAN.
FOUR CASUALTIES REPORTED. (8T CABLR—PMS9 ASSOCIATION—COPtStOHT). (AUSTRALIAN AND H.Z. CABLB ASSOCIATION.) TOKI.O, October 28. The earthquake which rocked Japan on October 16th covered a considerable area of the west coast, but caused few casualties. Comimwica,tions were interrupted. Reports vary regarding the intensity of the shake, some asserting that its violence equalled the disastrous 'quake of 1923. Tokio and large towns to' the northwest were not affected.
