WOOLSTON SCHOOL.
SUCCESSFUL VaIR. In beautiful weather, the- Woolston schftpl fair was • held on Saturday in the- school grounds, in fiid. of the school plcliio fund and also for a fund to eftcourage ill the district. The organiser* \reta the Woolston School Committee, tlia teachers, and various local residents. In the absence of Mr J. McCombe, M.P. for tho district, Mfs McConibs officiated, beinjr introduced, by* Mr J. Kadcliffe, chairman of the echoot committeb. During the afternoon,, members of the Woolston Band attended and played elections, The fair was continued at night, when the grounds fcfire electrically illuminated and a dance was held in tho school. The committee and the secretary. Mr M. Lowe, worked hard to ensure tho success of the fair. The proceeds reached almost £l4O.
