REDCLIFFS BAZAAR.
On Saturday afternoon the Redclift's Community Hall looked gay outside and in, the occasion being the ladies' effort on behalf of the funds of the Redcliffs Bowling and Croquet Club. The Major of Sumner, Mr W. H. Nicholson, who, with Mrs 'Nicholson, was present, officially opened the bazaar, and in doing so expressed his pleasure at being - present at the club's effort. He congratulated Sumner and Redclift's on the efforts so often made by the ladies, and complimented them upon the attractiveness of the Btalls and the amount of good material they ! were offering for sale. la conclusion he expressed the hope that both-the Bowling and the Croquet Clubs would continue to prosper, and provide the entertainment and social intercourse, they were intended for. He had much pleasure iu declaring the function open, and hoped the financial results would fully compensate them for their trouble. The following were the stallholders: — Cake Stall: Mrs D. Coleman, Mrs W. S. Mitchell, Mrs A. Senior, Mrs 3. Sutherland, Mrs S. Donkin. Miss D. Lawson., Sweets: Mrs Dixon Mrs N. Nettleton, Mrs A. Shand. Fancy Work: Mrs Beeby, Mrs A. Tutill, Mrs S Franklin. Produce: Mrs McGrath Mrs S* Williams. Mrs It. Simpson. Smiling Stall: Mrs Teppett. Chocolate Stall: Mr A. Holden, Mr K. Britten. Dart Stall: Mr F. Wine Mr N. Nettleton. Afternoon Tea: Mrs A. King, Mrs J. A. Russell, and Mrs A. Simpson. __
