FRUIT EXPORT.
THE GOVERNMENT GUARANTEE. [THE PRESS Special Strrtee.] WELLINGTON, October 27. This morning the Fruit Export Control Board waited upon the Minister for Agriculture (Hon. Mr Hawken) and presented its case for an increase in the Government guarantee on fruit exported during tho coming, season. Recently the Minister announced that the guarantee' this would be 10s per case, instead of lis (id, as formerly. After _ hea.ring the 'Board members, the Minister agreed l to refer the matter to Cabinet again.
