■ SKIN SALES. , (Received October 28th, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, October 27. At the sheepskin ealea 4508 bales were offered, including 1092 from Now Zealand Iho selection was fairly good. There was a large attendanco and general competition America buying a good eharo. Prices are: June crossbreds, par to 7J per cent, above oeptember rates; others, par to 5 per cent, dearer. There was a total offering of 3432 dry 1227 gieen, 330 salted skins, and 60 bags of wool at the weekly skin sale held in Christchurch on Thursday. Buyers showed a, keenness for fine-woolled dry skins, which sold well up to late rates. Coarser woolled skins were in demand, but green skins showed a decline of Is 6d to 2s 6d on prices obtained two weeks ago. Pelts wore eagerly competed for by local tanners.
