MYSTERY AND DRAMA. "Held by uie Law" is a gripping picture of intrigue and thrills. It heads the programme to be screened at the Strand Theatre, commencing to-day, and stars Marguerite de la Motte, a young actress possessing both charm and talent. The story tell 6 of a girl's adventures in those parts of a big city which are unknown to the ordinary individual, and it holds the audience enthralled throughout. Aileen Pringle, a3 the exotic mystic in tho second offering, is ably supported by Conwav Tearle. "The Mystic" tells how a great spiritualistic hoax is worked in New York, it throws an interesting light on the manner in which "psychio'' phenomena may be perpetrated.
