"STOP FLIRTING."
SPECTACULAR FIGHT FILM. QUEEN'S THEATRE. In spite of all appearanoea to the contrary, the most difficult picture to make is a successful comedy. Christie Bros.' latest offering, "Stop Flirting," is the big attraction at the Queen's Theatre next week. The stars are Wanda Hawley and Jimmie Adam 6. The film is staged at a luxurious seaside home of a young man of wealth, surrounded by a gay crowd of pleasure seekers. The husband becomes an outcast in his own home, tho guests occupying every available spot, and he appeals to his chum for aid. They conceive a plan, in which the husband endeavours to cure his wife of flirting. She discovers his plan, and she makes him do a pretty dance before she finally forgives him. Also to be showu is the film of the sensational boxing contest which took place in New York, between Tom Heeney, heavyweight champion of New Zealand, and Paolico Uzcuden, the Herculean Spanish woodchopper champion of Europe. Tha picture will have a strong appeal to Dominion sportsmen, as not only was it Heeney's first big fight in America, but it was his step ping-stone to other engagements which have placed him in the position of a possible contender for the world's championship. When Heeney left New Zealand over two yeats, ago for the purpose of seeking honours in the pugilistic world, he stayed over iri South Africa for a while and met and defeated Johnny Squires, the South African champion, who subsequently defeated George Ccok, the Australian champion. Heeney's good showing in South Africa paved tlie way for engagements in England, and after cleaning up all the heavy-weights in sight, with tho exception of the champion, Phil Scott, who asked impossible terms, he left for America. PaoJino had proved his superiority over Continental heavy-weights, which did not earn him very large sums of money, and decided to go to the country of big purses. He made good from the start and caught the public fancy as one who might eventually fight his way to the top of the tree, lieserve at Webley's or 'phona 3842.
