RUAPEHU DUE TO-DAY.
The New Zealand Shipping f'lorapanv's liner Ruapebu is due at Lyttelton this morning from Port Chalmers to continue discharge of her London curgo. Captain A. W McKellar, R.D., R.X.R., retains command of the Ruapohu, and his officers are:—Chief I Mr J. Laird; second, Mr A. D. Landles; i third, Mr W, J. Glassborow; fourth, Mr AV"' I J. Newton; surgeon, Dr. E. M. H. O'Connor' steward-in-charge. Mr K. H. Whitaker'I chief engineer, Mr D. Corbett; second Mr A. E. Koake; third, Mr J. B. Thackeray ! fourth, Mr J. Videon; fifth, Mr W J Ward; chief refrigerating engineer. Mr' h' Henderson; second, Mr j. M. Young; electrician, Mr W. Sinclair; radio operators. Messrs L. Cobbett, J. L. Smith, and L Wilmot. NEW C. AND D. LINERS. t . J he r c <? mm °o""ca!th and Dominion Line Ltd., London, has placed an OTder with Messrs hwau. Hunter, and Wigham Richardson, Ltd WaUsend, for two motor-ships similar to the lort Huon and the Port Gisborne, which were delivered to thu company this year by the IrVallsend firm. These vessels have a carrying capacity of 11.350 tons, and are 475 ft long. The orders for the engines have not yet been placed. The Port Gisborne visited Wellington on her maiden trip some week« ago, and is at present loading at Australian ports.
