+ . GUILTY OF CONTEMPT OF COURT. (BT CABLS—PBBSS ASSOCIATION—COPTBIGHT). (ATTBTBAI,IAJJ AND H.Z. CABMS ASSOCIATION.) (Received October 28th, 8.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 28. The Full Court has delivered judgment on the application of the Higgs brothers, and has found the "Daily Guardian" guilty of contempt of Court, but instead of issuing a writ of attachment, has fined the proprietors £2OO, and, as Packer is only an officer^ of the company, he has been ordered with the proprietors to pay the costs of the application. [Hubert Bruce and William Higgs, who are charged with the murder of Ronald Lachlan Leslie, a grazier and man of means, applied to the Full Court for writs of attachment against Robert Clyde Packer, printer and publisher of the "Daily Guardian" nowspaper, and the proprietors of the same newspaper for .contempt of Court in publishing three articles at different dates giving details' of the alleged murder of Leslie. They contended that the articles were of such a nature as to prejudice the fair-, ness of their trial.]
