Von Hindenburg 111. Berlin, October 27. —President Ton Hindenburg was taken ill overnight and fainted this morning, but is improving. Cabinet denies that he has suffered an apoplectic seizure. Air Mail for Australia. San Francisco, October 27—Tho Australian air mail, which Captain Kingsford Smith, who is to attempt a flight to Australia, was to have carried, may be cancelled. Captain Smith applied for permission to carry 1500 letters, aud the postal authorities allowed for their transportation provided that the mail was not limited to that amount. Consequently 4000 letters, marked air mail to Australia, arrived from the Post Office, after which Captain Smith informed the authorities that ho understood he was only to take the 1500 supplied to himself, aud not those placed by tho general public with the Post Office. Ex-Fascist Banished. Rome, October 27.—Colisi Rossi, exsecretary of the Turin Fascist!, has been expelled from the party and banished owing to anti-Fascist activity. Nobel Prize Winners. Stockholm, October 27.—The Nobel Prizes for medicine have been awarded to Professors Dibiger of Copenhagen, and Conjuregg, of Vienna.
