JUMP IN MARCONI SHARES.
CABLE COMPANIES -MAY TRY TO SECURE CONTROL. (BT CABI.F.--NIESS ASSOCIATION-COrTRIGHT.) OCSIKAUAK AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION ) LONDON, October 25. Marconi shares jumped to-.dav from 3-js to 38s, on rumours that someone was buying for control. Later they reacted to 35s 6d.
