Evidence for the defence in the Schwarzbai.d trial suddenly terminated yesterday. After further witnesses had declared that General Petlura was responsible for the Jewish Pogroms, counsel announced was no need to call tho remaining SO witnesses. I'Samuel Schwnrzbard is on trial for the murder of the Russian General Petlura, who was shot on the Boulevard St, Michael by a Russian Jew, who fired six times iit him, five of the shots being effective.]
