f REPORT ON IRAQ. (BT CABLE—rBIBS ASSOCIATION —COMBIGHT) (AUSTRALIA* AN'D K.I. CABLE AS3OCIATIOS.) (Received October 26th, 10.15 p.m.) GENEVA, October 26. The Mandates Commission has received a report on Iraq, in which it is stated that Turkey and Iraq have beoome sincere friends. The revenue has exceeded the estimate by over 8 per cent. The people have shown surprising administrative capacity. • Labour troubles practically are non-existent, employment is plentiful, and wages are good. The fourth session, preparatory to the Disarmament Commission, has been fixed for November 3rd.
