BUILDERS' STRIKE.
*> CANADIAN DISPUTE. (by cable—press association—copyright.) (australian ksd n.z. cable association.) OTTAWA. October 24. The Building Trades Council of Toronto has called a strike of all building trades in support of the International Brotherhood of Carpenters. . Approximately 2000 men have struck, many reluctantly, halting large building projects. The strike resulted from differences arising when the Carpenters' "Union refused to give up the National Union to become member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters o v f America.
