Joseph Foster, when charged at Marylebone Police Court, appeared faultlessly dressed, with his head bandaged. He was remanded in custody till Friday. [Foster, aged 44, a traveller, was arrested in New Zealand on a charge of stealing a mail-bag containing £IO,OOO from the Cardiff-London express, _ on February 2nd. An order for extradition was granted.]
