BECKENHAM PARK.

NO ADDITIONAL LAND. "Some time ago," reported the Reserves Committee to the City Council last evening, "a number of owners of property adjoining Beckenham park offered to sell-to the Council a piece of land from the back of their sections for the purpose of enlarging the Park, the price asked for the land being £BS for each piece. As some of the owners have'been approached by a person who wishes to acquire the land for the purpose of erecting glass-houses thereon, the said owners have asked for a final answer, and the Committee has replied to. the effect that it does not desire the land under offer." The clause was adopted.
