KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR.
(PKESS ASSOCIATION TEZEGBAM.) WELLINGTON, October 24. Mrs Martin Evans, a widow, was knocked down by a motor-car as she stepped from behind a tramcar while crossing the street about 8.30 on Saturday evening. She was seriously injured, and is in hospital in a critical condition,
