BREWERS' STRIKE THREAT.

The members of all unions employed in the brewing industry are demanding a forty-four hour week of five days, eliminating Saturday work, and threaten to strike unless their claims are conceded. A mass meeting of all employees in the_ industry is called for Sunday to decide whether to refuse work each Saturday until the demands are granted. A genera] hold-up of the industry is feared. »
