PILGRIMAGE TO MONS.
OLD CONTEMPTIBLES' PROPOSAL. IBT CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPIRIQBT.) (.AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION'.) LONDON, October 23. . The Old Contemptibles' Association is planning a pilgrimage to Mons on Armistice Day, when 300 representatives of every unit will be present. The battle veterans will draw up in single line to observe a two-minutes' silence. Then the buglers and trumpeters who were present on the first day of the battle will sound Reveille and Last Post. . On the following Sunday there will be a drumhead service on the spot where the first Old Contemptibles fell.
