QUEEN'S THEATRE.

"FORBIDDEN WATERS." A PICTURE OF THRILLS. "Forbidden Waters," which opened at the Queen's Theatre yesterday, is a picture of thrills and humour, and the tale moves along at a high speed. The story tells of a young woman, recently divorced, who, learning tho intention of two crooks, brother and sister, to entangle her ex-husband, determines to defeat the plot. Accordingly she lures him to a lonely island, and from that moment the action is rapid and there are many sensational happenings. The adventuress and her companion are eventually exposed, and matters are straightened out satisfactorily for tho divorced pair. Priscilla Dean has the star part, and playing opposite her is Walter McGrail. The second feature, "The Timid Terror," is the story of a young man who lacks self-confidence. His employer declared him to be entirely hopeless; ho was afraid of his rival and shy where his young lady was concerned. In a fit of desperation, and in an endoavour to show that ho could do something out of the ordinary, he plucked up conrago and decided on a reckless and bold course. The picture is pure comedy, very delightfully presonted. "What happens to the young lad who wishes for a car and. inherits a taxi-cab is the theme of the tale. George O'Hara has the role of the impoverished youth who has but ono desire, to own an automobile, in order to impress tho lady of his choice. Supporting films arc excellent and well varied. They includo a Felix cartoon, a comedy, "Hot Sparks," >» comedy, "Family Fits," "A Stitch in Time," "Dancing Daddy," "Queen's AVild," and two Empire news reels.
