(Received October 23rd, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, October 22. , The death is '■ announced of Cardinal O'Donnell [His Eminence Cardinal Patrick O'Doonell, who was Archbishop of Armagh since 1924, was born at Kilraine, Glenties, County Donegal, in 1856. He Was educated nt the Catholic University, Maynootb. He was a Professor of Theology and Prefect of the Dunboyne Establishment. Maynooth; Rector of ■ the Cathob'o University of Ireland; Roman Catholic Bishop of Raphoe from 1888 to 1922, Titular Archbishop of Attalia, and coadjutor to Cardinal Logue from 1922 to 1924. He became a Cardinal in 1925.]
