"Abie's Irish Eose." New York, October 22.—♦' Abie's Irish Rose" has closed its Metropolitan run after 2327 consecutive performances, extending over almost five and a half years. The play broke all theatrical records, almost doubling the previous American mark and exceeding London's record for Chit Chin Chow by nearly 100 performances. Hurunui Sails. Newcastle, October 22.—The imprisoned crew of the steamer Hurunui abandoned their previous attitude that they would not sail while the present chief engineer was aboard, and were released, being escorted to the vessel, which sailed.
