At a special meeting yesterday of the Council of the University of New Zealand, the following degrees were conferred: — Doctor of Science—Harold John Findlay (Otago). Doctor of Philosophy—Rudolf Geordgs Penseler (Otago). Master of Arts—Bichards Peter Kurt Kama (second class in mathematics) (Otago). Bachelor of Engineering (electrical) —Douglas Bruce Sangster (Canterbury College), Arthur Morrell Spencer, (Cant.rbury College).
