SUMNER BAND OF HOPE.

Tho final concert of the 1927 session of the Sumner BaDd of Hope was given in the Town Hall on Friday evening, when the Rev. A. R. Itenn presided over a good attendance. Tlio following was the programme:—Song, Band of Hope Choir; pianoforto bolo, Lester Mulholland; euphonium duet, Jack Fenton and Roddie Marchbank; pianoforte duet, Betty and Joan Falconer; dance music, Misses Selby and Myers' pupils; song, Cecil Stevens; pianoforto duot, Pauline Cunningham and Freda Martin; glowworm song, choir; recitatiou, Bolle Brown; song, choir; euphonium solo, Jack Fenton; pianoforte solo, Peggy woodhead; Russian dance, Misses Myers and Selby's pupils; vocal duet, Lena Cobbledick and Greta Sarelius; recitation, Nancy Lang; pianoforte duet, Pauline Cunningham and Freda Martin; Darkies' song, three choir boys; pianoforte solo, Pauline Cunningham; song, Esma Mulholland, Elsa and Marion Duff; euphonium duet, Jack Fenton and Roddie Marchbank; song, choir. ■ The address was given by the Rev. S. • J. Werren, who spoke on "The Far-reaching Result of Little Things." At the closo of the programme the chairman thanked .those who had supported the Band of Hope throughout the session. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded to Mesdamcs "W. H. Heslop and R. Ogier for their untiring efforts in preparing tho children for tho programmes.
