PROGRAMME CARRIED OUT. CHRISTCHURCH CLUB'S BOYCOTT. Close finishes wero tho order at English Park Stadium on Saturday evening when the second meeting was hold under the auspices of tho Korth Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Athlotic and Cycling Union. Fields and the attendance wero reduced by tho boycott of tho Christchurch Club, members of which are at variance with the Centre and from which, it is reported, a crop of resignations has been threatened. Humours wero current before tho events commenced that a sympathy strike among the amateur riders would also eventuate, but all doubts as to whether the meeting would be held wero dispelled whon tho announcer ordered the track to be cleared a little after the usual starting timo. Every event was got off, the riding of Mayo in tho amateur races being a feature. The results were: Half-mile Second and Third-class Handicap—First heat: W. W. Crofts (20yds) l, H. W.
