VISA FOR MR COOK.
VISIT TO POLAND. (by cable—press association— copyright.) (jlustbalian and n.z. and sun cable.) LONDONi, October 20. The Polish Consul has informed Mr A. J. Cook (miners' secretary) that ho has now been instructed to grant to him a visa. . Mr Cook says that it is too late now to <*et to Warsaw in time for the meeting of the Miners' International, and ho has arranged to go elsewhere He "has sent a letter to tho Consul asking him whether the original reason for the refusal of the visa was that two Labour men abused Poland s hospitality in 1926, or because of _Mr Cook's avowed sympathy with Communism, as reported.
