ALLEGED SLIGHT. (ritzss ASSOCIATION TBLEGBAM.) OAMARU, October 21. In connexion with the visit of Mr L. S: Amery, tho Mayor of Oamaru has received notification from the Minister in charge .of the tour that he would be spending over an hour at the Waitaki High School, and no time in the town, except ten minutes at the railway station. The Mayor considers that a distinguished visitor should be induced to devote more time to the town than to one institution in it, and said that it. looked like a slight on the municipality.
