ENGLISH PARK STADIUM.

TO-NIGHT'S SPORTS. In spite of an organised attempt to boycott In-night's sports meeting at English Park Stadium, the North Canterbury Centre of the N.Z. Athletic and Cycling Union has, without difficulty, arranged a full and interesting programme t>f cycling and running events. The programme will consist of seventeen handicap cycle races and a two miles teams' pursuit Tace. The runners, including the best sprinters in the Dominion, have nominated in large numbers for the 120 yards flat handicap, and five heats and a final will be necessary. The sports will commence at 8 o'clock.
