The Queensland Advisory Board has recommended to the Roma Oil Corporation that two or more holes should be sunk to a considerable depth with the object of developing the Roma area as an oilfield. Representatives of the corporation havo approved of tho recommendation. Testing at the bore continues. Two hundred and fifty gallons of a white emulsion have been discharged with less than two per cent, of excess free oil. The assorted water was blackish in colour. The Minister for Mines, Mr Jones, explains that the white emulsion contained oil which separated itself from the emulsion. SHARE PRICES FLUCTUATE. MELBOURNE, October 20. Sales of Roma oil shares ranged from £6 10s to £lO.
