Glider Record. Berlin, October 19.—The airman. Schultzo. lias made a now glider altitude record of 21 ISft in four hours, beating the previous best record of js2ft. Italian Scientific Expeditions. Rome. October IP.—At a meeting; at Milan celebrating the tenth anniversary of the end of the war, it was decided to organise two Italian scientific expeditions in IP2S. One will attempt the a.cent of tiic Himalayas, to which the British and Indian Governments have consented, and the other will be a Polar expedition, in charge of General Nobile.
