FIRES.
DWELLING DAMAGED. (PKESS ASSOCIATION TELZGHAJI.) WELLINGTON, October 20. An outbreak of fire occurred to-night at No. 2 Evelyn place, a five-roomed, two-storeyed house, owned and occupied by Mrs Dorothy Maud Adams. As a high wind was blowing, the adjoining buildings were in danger. The house and its contents were partially damaged. Through a trellis work which he was climbing, collapsing, Fireman J. Wright, aged 25, fell and injured his back. He was admitted to hospital, but his condition is stated not to be serious. The need for protection against fire loss is obvious.
