ACROSS AUSTRALIA.
NEW ZEALAND LADY MOTORISTS (by cable— pbess association— copyright), (austbaman and n.z.' cable association.) SYDNEY, July 26. Mrs Gladys Sandford and Mrs Stella Christie, two New Zealand ladies, have reached Sydney after a strenuous motor journey.
Alone, they crossed Australia four times, covering 11,000 miles. Starting on March 4th, they drove from Sydney to Perth, back to Adelaide, thence to Darwin and back, and returned to Sydney. They had an adventurous time in wilds and the little-kn-wn country in the Northern Territory, but they overcame all difficulties without mishap.
